Joel would be so proud. Liz and I have once again met "The Krezzah", Australian traveller in South America numero uno, here in Bogotá. At the time of photo, I believe he was juggling two Colombian women? Something along those lines.

Juan Miguel was a pretty hip kid. Lucky for him he was almost my weight, so the other kids didn´t mess with him much. Look at that smile!

I know I´ve mentioned Magdalena before, but she is just one of my favorites from the children´s home. I don´t know exactly what her condition is, but she can definitely put her foot into her mouth with her knees locked. I must say, though she can´t speak much, she really impressed me- especially when we learned how to blow kisses goodbye to each other. Liz jokingly called her my girlfriend.
I´m getting chocked up just remembering those pobrecitos...
Left to right - Elsa, Asunción, and Arminda, the three most adorable little toddlers in all of Bolivia.
They taught me how to eat, as you can clearly see, while we all hung out at the children´s hospital together. As you know, I´ve just finished up my volunteering job there, and I miss the little ones already.
Also, as you might be able to tell, Elsa really digs eating. One time, I had to take a piece of painted ceramic out of her mouth. Most kids would just lick it, and that is bad enough, but she was somehow chewing and swallowing it. Must have been hungry! Oh, kids...

OK. I've been in Sucre 2 weeks, and heard this song 4 times. That's an incredible percentage of time to spend listening to this song in 2005. By 'incredible', I mean very unfortunate.
Honestly, Steve Perry and Huey Lewis really do some of the best solos in this jam. Gotta give it up for Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and the other random soul singers too. Down with The Boss on this one, he has like 4 solos and he sucks them all up like a Hoover.
