Argentine rock band Los Callejeros, who played just before New Years before 4,000 people (193 of whom burned to death thanks to the Argentine obsession with lighting fireworks in enclosed spaces), have just been indicted for manslaughter in regards to the show.
It is a pretty far-reaching type of justice to go after the band that played the show that everyone died in, but the parents are out for blood. What a tragedy, all around. If you can search out some Callajeros MP3s, check out the hit - Nueva Noche Fría. It´s really good, and catchy, and you just can´t picture people being burned alive to it.
Don´t. Blame. The Band.
The band organised the show. For instance, the security staff was people close to the band. And they take 70% of the show's profits... It's more complex than just "don't blame the band".
