A miner was shot dead yesterday just as Bolivia´s presidential succesion was taking place.
Once again, I ask that this is viewed from both sides. We all agree that it is absolutely wrong to kill political protestors.
However, the lead article in Bolivia´s main paper yesterday talked about how miners where consolidating huge stockades of dynamite into busses to try direct fatal attacks on police forces. That, for me at least, goes beyond protest.
Remember, the police forces are mostly 15 year old boys with guns, how do you expect them to react to such hostility?
