Ahhh, the full Cama. If only I knew it existed previously, I would be on it every time without fail.
The full cama one-way trip from BsAs to Iguazu costs about 105 Pesos for an 18 hour trip. That works out to just under US$40, and it´s so worth it. First of all, there are half as many people on your bus, which means half as many vomitting babies. Secondly, your seat turns into a bed, which is completely awesome. Thirdly, the bus is faster, because it doesn´t stop for food, which leads me to my fourth point:
Executive Service! They assign a pretty lady to serve you free food, whisky, champagne, wine, and other treats throughout your journey. I did expect to be able to De-bus and make some phone calls, but in hindsight with my current money troubles, I´m glad I didn´t even have that chance. Anyway, the trip was lovely, and despite having to suffer through Starsky and Hutch (again) and pretending that My Bosses Daughter wasn´t on for two hours, I can´t wait for my next full cama coach ride.
Too bad my ride to Rio, all 24 hours of it, will be right back into Semi-Cama excitement, and with no money to eat. Should be an adventure to remember. At least if someone tries to rob me, they won´t get anything, because I´ve got nothing left.
